Gary Smith, RLA, CLARB, Partner

Gary has practiced more than twenty-three years as a landscape architect, and has built a diverse portfolio of projects over his career. Over the years, Gary has developed a depth of knowledge in planning and design that allows him to contribute on tasks that range from writing construction specifications and detailing complex hardscape elements to advising communities about controlling growth.

Gary is an excellent public speaker, and knows how to present contentious topics to audiences with divergent viewpoints in a way that challenges and informs without offending. In addition, Gary has leveraged his knowledge of private development to help communities anticipate and plan for future growth by assisting them in updating their comprehensive plans and zoning codes. Gary has the experience to understand that the details of projects are important, and the ability to apply this knowledge to our client’s long range plans and goals.
